In Memory of Barbara J. Hooper

After an unexpected illness, Barbara J. Hooper passed away on March 26, 2020. Mrs. Hooper, who was married to Dr. Cornelius Hooper, was a dedicated member of the Auxiliary to the Sinkler Miller Medical Association (ASMMA) and served as president of both the ASMMA and the Auxiliary to the Golden State Medical Association. Since 2020, Dr. Hooper has continued the tradition of awarding "The Barbara J. Hooper Memorial Health Career Scholarship" to many aspiring students pursuing a career in the health professions in memory of his late wife.
